Double P1 upper left & upper right. 57.5cm. A medium size, feminine bitch. Good
head with dark masking however the skull and foreface should be a little stronger.
Dark eyes. Normal withers, firm back. Short, steep croup. The upper arm should be
longer and more angled. Pasterns are a little soft. Good hind angulation. Good fore
and slightly short under chest development. Steps a little wide both front and rear;
both hocks and elbows should be firmer. The movement is a little hasty and the
ligamentation should be firmer overall. Graded Very Good.

19½ months. 58cm. A just above medium size, medium strong, still well proportioned
bitch of good type. Black and gold saddle markings. Feminine head and expression.
Normal length of neck, flat withers, straight back, slightly short and slightly steep croup.
Good fore and underchest development. Stands correct in front, left pastern could be a
little firmer. Good fore and hindquarter angulations. Moves correct going and coming,
where the elbows should be firmer. Shows good movement, however both the reach and
drive could be more effective, and tends to fall slightly on the forehand.

23½ months - Well above medium size, medium strong bitch not presented in the best coat
condition. Desired dark mask and well coloured eye. Slightly short neck. Stands correct in
front. High wither, firm back in stance. Croup is short & steep. Good forequarter angulation
where the upper arm is short & steep. Good hindquarter anulation. She should be a little
more tight knit in topline and hocks. Just good reach and drive. Graded Very Good.

23½ months – 59cm. An above medium size, medium strong, well pigmented bitch
with a very good head. High withers, straight back. Slightly short and steep croup.
Good forequarter where the upper arm is steep. Very good hinquarter angulation.
Stands correct in front. Steps correct at rear where the elbows are yet to achieve
final firmness. Shows a good ground covering gait with good hindquarter drive, the
forehand reach should be freer. The bitch is presented today not in best coat
condition. Graded Very Good.

28 months. Dbl P1 upper left & right. 58.5cms. An above medium size, medium
strong, black and gold, slightly elongated bitch of very good type. Very good length
of neck, high withers, firm back, slightly short and slightly steep croup. The upper
arm should be slightly longer and better angled; very good hindquarter angulation.
Stands correct in front where the forechest requires further development; good
underchest development. Good head and expression with good masking of both the
skull and foreface. Very good eye colour and ear carriage. Steps correct at rear with
good firmness of joints; slightly wide at front where the elbows should be closer laid.
During movement shows very good ground covering gait with strong hindquarter
drive; the forehand reach could be just a little freer. Today not presented in the best
of coat condition.

DECEMBER 2014: Xena has now been training for agility for 12 months at Gawler and is now in pre trailers classes. Although we could trial her now, the method the instructors use is postive reinforcement and pattern setting to give the dog the best chance. December saw the end of year show and presentation where Xena and I walked away with an encouragement trophy and this awesome German Shepherd coffee mug. This is why I like this club so much.
