SEELENFREUND KENNELS

We are a small and recent breeder of the German Shepherd, but have a history of being involved in animals.    I purchased Xena in 2012.  She was purchased just to be a family pet.  After a few months I started to learn how to show her, and learnt more about the breed and the standards of the breed.

I am a member of Dogs S.A.  I am a firm believer in the Hip and Elbow Dysplasia Scheme and also Breed Survey, thus ensuring the best standards for this wonderful breed are maintained.  I was a member of the German Shepherd Dog Club S.A. but the  distance proved too much.  I am now a member of the Gawler Dog Obedience, on the committee and working to assist the  trainers there.   I also train in Agility and Obedience and Rally O at the Gawler Club.

All our pets are a big part of our family here and are incorporated in family activities.  Our dogs are exposed to many and varied things to give them a good all round temperament.  Activities include, moving around poultry, horses and sheep through to going for walks through Adelaide to be exposed to sights, smells and noises we don't get here in the country.
 

I am currently studying a course in dog psychology and have already assisted a few dog owners with problems.  This is my relaxation.  I also instruct at the local dog club.  I am always available to new owners of puppies purchased from me, as the pups are always family to me.

I believe our dogs will make you happy whether you are looking for that special pet, obedience, agility or show and bring you hours of entertainment and happiness as Xena has done with me.

Puppies purchased come with "Puppy Packs" which includes pedigree papers and 5 generations of blood lines.  All puppies will be micro chipped and immunised.  Also included is an information sheet about caring for your puppy

and sample of good quality dog food for the pup, just to get you started
